Dana Kinsey has a BA in English and an MA in Theater from Villanova University. She is a poet, actor, freelance writer, fine-arts teacher, and theater director.
Her stage play, WaterRise, premiered at the Gene Frankel Theatre in Greenwich Village in June 2015 and was also produced by Sagesse Productions as a short film.
Her tribute poems to both Prince and Olympian Yusra Mardini can be found online in the Yellow Chair Review and more of her work will soon be published in The Broadkill Review.
She is a faculty member in the Fine and Performing Arts Department at Lancaster Catholic High School in Pennsylvania where she teaches Acting Technique, Dramaturgy, British Literature, and Playwrighting.
